Square Battery Test Fixture
The square‑cell test fixture is designed for rapid testing of prismatic power batteries, enabling convenient evaluation of individual cells. It comprises a base plate with uniformly distributed heat‑dissipation holes, a left‑side stop plate and a right‑side stop plate fixed to the left and right edges of the base plate, a front stop plate vertically mounted at the front end of the base plate, a rear stop plate vertically mounted at the rear end, and two probes mounted on the front stop plate, each corresponding to the terminal tabs of a prismatic lithium‑ion cell. The fixture also includes a U‑shaped battery reinforcement plate that spans both sides of the base plate, with its ends securely fastened to the base plate; this reinforcement plate is equipped with through‑holes to accommodate temperature‑sensing leads. All components of the fixture can be freely disassembled and reassembled, and by adjusting the positions of the rear stop plate, side stop plates, and probes, the device can safely and conveniently accommodate tests of various battery types. Temperature‑sensing leads are routed through the holes in the battery reinforcement plate and attached to the battery surface, enabling accurate measurement of surface temperature during the testing process.
