JH3561 High-Precision Battery Internal Resistance Tester

3561/3561-01 Battery tester uses the AC four‑terminal method (at 1 kHz) to measure the internal resistance of batteries and similar devices. In addition, it can simultaneously measure DC voltage (the battery’s electromotive force). With its capability for high‑precision, high‑speed measurements and a wide range of interface options, it is ideally suited for integrating into battery‑production inspection systems.

  • Product Description
  • I. Overview:

3561/3561-01 Battery tester uses the AC four‑terminal method (at 1 kHz) to measure the internal resistance of batteries and similar devices. In addition, it can simultaneously measure DC voltage (the battery’s electromotive force). With its capability for high‑precision, high‑speed measurements and a wide range of interface options, it is ideally suited for integrating into battery‑production inspection systems.

    II. Characteristics

Simultaneously measure the battery’s internal resistance and voltage.

Since the four-terminal method can simultaneously measure both resistance and DC voltage, it enables the simultaneous measurement and evaluation of a battery’s internal resistance and electromotive force.

    High-precision measurement

It features high resolution, with a resistance measurement resolution of 0.01 mΩ and a voltage measurement resolution of 0.1 mV. High‑precision measurements are achieved, with a voltage measurement accuracy of 0.01% of reading.

    High-speed measurement

When measuring both resistance and voltage simultaneously, high-speed measurements with a maximum speed of approximately 10 ms can be performed.

    Comparator Functionality

The resistance and voltage measurements are evaluated in three stages—Hi, IN, and Lo—and the results are displayed in an easy-to-read format. The comparator‑driven buzzer emits distinct tones for pass and fail conditions, enabling more accurate judgment.

    Statistical computation function

Because it can calculate the maximum, minimum, average, standard deviation, and process capability index of measured values, it is ideally suited for production management. It can also be configured as a comparator setpoint.

    Measurement value storage function

This instrument features a data‑holding function; its internal memory can store up to 400 measurement values. When performing measurements during high‑speed switching of test objects, transmitting each measurement to the computer would prolong the switching time. However, by utilizing this data‑holding capability, you can save time by consolidating and transmitting the measurements at once.

    EXT I/O Interface

Equipped with standard EXT I/O and RS-232C interfaces, it supports high-speed transmission at 38,400 bps. The 3561-01 is also compatible with GP‑IB.

Printing of measured values and statistical results

By connecting the optional 9670 printer, you can print measurement values or statistical calculation results.
