The JH8661 Portable Battery Tester from Huizhou Jinghui Instrument and Equipment Co., Ltd. is a portable power bank comprehensive tester for functional verification, parameter measurement and performance evaluation. It is used for semi-finished or finished external power supplies such as portable power banks and adapter-based energy storage devices. The tester combines four independent bidirectional power modules with a touch-screen interface.
The four modules correspond to 10 test interfaces: two modules each serve a single interface, while the other two modules each serve four interfaces. The bidirectional power modules combine the functions of a DC power supply and an electronic load, and they support QC and PD fast-charging protocols. Testing fast charging does not require an additional dummy load, external DC power supply or separate load device.
The 10-inch screen provides the operator interface, and the tester supports QC2.0, QC3.0, PD2.0, PD3.0 and PD3.1. The maximum test voltage is 20 V, the maximum current is 10 A and the maximum power is 200 W. The load mode is CC/CV, the voltage and current accuracy are plus or minus 0.05 percent plus 0.05 FS, and the minimum resolution is 0.5 mV for voltage and 0.5 mA for current.
The tester includes basic protection modes OCP, OVP, OPP and OTP, and it supports CC line reverse insertion test, remote voltage measurement, D+/D- front-and-back test, ripple measurement, protocol detection, overcurrent protection point test, PPS scan test, PDO test, VDM testing, independent testing between channels and multi-port combination testing. It also supports PD3.1 testing and a built-in E-Marker.
The device supports 100 steps and 120 stored files, and the test results can be exported to a USB storage device. The operating voltage is 100 to 240 Vac at 50/60 Hz, and the working environment is up to 70 percent relative humidity and minus 10 to 50 degrees Celsius. For a production line, the tester can be used for incoming inspection, functional testing and final verification of power banks.
